When Netflix announced the reboot of Queer Eye in 2018, audiences weren’t too sure what to expect. We’ve seen Van Ness work his charm on every person featured on Queer Eye, transforming them into the best version of themselves possible, and at other times being someone’s first foray into the world of skincare (seriously, who doesn’t use moisturiser?). Their passion for beauty and clean, sustainable products continues to make Van Ness a leader in the industry and they are quick to share advice on how we can all be more conscious in our consumerism of beauty.

As for their own routine, Van Ness takes a shower and throws a mask in their hair and face, then takes a hot bath to rinse “the grime off from the day and then real in a coconut milk bath and Biossance’s 100% Squalane Oil makes me feel like a whole new person.”
Speaking about self-care and positivity, Van Ness admits he feel the most beautiful “whenever I have the time to take care of my needs so that I can then go and do everything else I want to the fullest.” They add, “That’s what makes me feel my most beautiful.”
