More than 1200 Corona infections in Germany – the R-value increases significantly

In Germany have been infected so far, 214.577 people with the Coronavirus, as data from the country’s health and social ministries is clear.

On Friday, the number of new infections stood at 1229. Most of the increase in NRW with 498 new cases.

The number of Healed, according to the Robert Koch Institute in Germany, at around 195.900

The number of active cases is at around 9500

Currently, the RKI reported reproduction number: 1,16

9161 people have so far died of the Coronavirus. The Robert Koch Institute estimates the number of Recovering at 195.900. Thus, about 9,500 people are infected acute care (active cases). This is a significant increase. On Thursday, the number of active cases stood at around 9,000. The R-value is increased according to RKI significantly, from 0.99 to 1.16. It indicates how many other people an Infected person on average infects.
