When Revlon first announced that Megan Thee Stallion was the brand's new brand ambassador in August 2020, fans were excited to see what products the duo would bring to the drugstore aisle. The Hot Girl Captain also proved that she knew a thing or two about makeup by doing her own makeup for the campaign and sharing her first makeup tutorial with the world — she showed viewers exactly how she achieved the campaign's silver cut crease. On July 28, almost a year later, the rapper and makeup brand are launching the Revlon x Megan Thee Stallion Hot Girl Sunset Collection — and Allure got a sneak peek at the products.
The limited-edition collection features four items that are sold together as a set for $40. The four makeup products are a 10-pan eye and face palette, wispy falsies, shimmery lip gloss, and a chic makeup bag to carry it all. But unlike other collaborations, this collection is solely available from StockX until supplies last (there are only 450 sets available). Revlon is actually the first makeup brand to sell a collection on the online marketplace, which will be a new experience for beauty enthusiasts.
The 10 gorgeous shades in the Hot Girl Sunset Palette were specifically curated by the Texas-bred rapper and inspired by sunsets, hence the name. This multiuse palette can be used to blend shimmery or matte pigments in neutral or purple hue on the eyes or cheeks. The rose-gold shade Dusk Til Dawn makes the perfect glistening highlight for the high points of the face, while the purple hues Blaze, Stunna, and On Fire can be combined for a violet smoky eye.
In addition to the palette, the brand is launching the Hot Girl Sunset False Lashes. Meg is a lash girl, so this pair of falsies is full of volume and length that are Stallion-approved. The wispy lashes are a great finishing touch for any makeup look, whether you want to recreate one of Thee Stallion's cut creases or a graphic liner look.
And the brand didn't forget about the lips with the Hot Girl Sunset Super Lustrous Thee Gloss in Blissed Out, which is actually one of Meg's favorite shades. It's a stunning sheer coral shade packed with flecks of gold shimmer that add the perfect glossy sheen.
The three products come packaged in a drawstring pouch with "Hot Girl," displayed across the front in gold letters. The pouch is available in two color options: vibrant tangerine and coral. It's the perfect size to hold all three products or whatever other items you might need to live your best Hot Girl life.
In addition to the chic makeup bag, you'll notice an adorable anime-inspired illustration of Meg on the palette's outer packaging. The small recreation of the rapper's image has a lengthy red wig with blunt bangs, a cowboy hat in honor of her Texas roots, and a large garnet sword.
