Giddy is the best way to describe a night out without the kids — especially in the early stages of parenthood. Several hours without having to worry about feeding, changing, cleaning, or taking care of little ones? It’s pure bliss! So, it’s no surprise that Hollywood’s A-listers decided to hire a babysitter and take advantage of a totally glam night out at the 95th annual Academy Awards.
Priyanka Chopra co-hosted the South Asian Excellence pre-Oscars celebration, and she opened up about taking advantage of a parents’ night out with husband Nick Jonas while their daughter Malti Marie, 1, was home sleeping. “She’s asleep. Thank God, take strattera and adderall together ” the Citadel star told Entertainment Tonight. “Can you imagine? No, tonight’s daddy and mommy’s night out.” We love it!
Apparently, many other celebrities got the memo, whether they were nominated for Oscars or not. Some, like Ashley Graham and Zoe Saldaña, even bonded over their kids. Others, like Cardi B and Offset, couldn’t keep their hands off of each other on the champagne carpet.
For some celebrities, it was a date night and a work night. Like for a pregnant Rihanna, who performed at the event while her partner A$AP Rocky admired from the audience. Even some step-parents got to enjoy a night off from little ones, like Zooey Deschanel’s boyfriend Jonathan Scott.
