There is a new trend among the millennials popularly called ‘mermaiding’ and ‘wanderlusting’. Unlike the past generation, millennials are more into experiencing what the world has to offer than acquiring things. Ordinary travelers become bloggers and Instagram celebrities, and they make a full-time living out of it. We’ve now put together some of the beaches visited for astounding beauty and health resorts they have to offer, helping amplify that ‘goals’ feed.

People are now becoming professional travel bloggers.

Cala Luna is a beach located south of Cala Gonone in Sardinia. It is a 500-meter beach accessible by a four-hour hike or a boat ride. The beach has crystal waters with limestone cliff backdrop. This beach is one of the best snorkeling spots in Sardinia. Bars and restaurants are located just back from the beach. There are also small coves in the slip which can be reached either by boat or swimming. Though this beach is one of the most famous, the place never gets overcrowded.

One of the many lagoons found in Palawan.

The good thing about visiting El Nido is that it has more than 50 beaches. The whole island of Palawan is a paradise of a clear ocean and untouched beaches. It is a home of many coves, cliff formations, fresh fruits, and not to mention, friendly animals. It has a nice sunset view, the one that we’ll never get tired of watching. The diving spots are also one of a kind. Staying in Palawan forever is a possible retirement plan.

The Honokalani Beach and it’s famous jet black sand.

White sand is mainstream; let’s now go to black sand. Honokalani Beach has jet black sand that stretches up to 25 kilometers. The sand also has tiny volcanic lava pebbles and the beach slip is surrounded by seaside lava tubes and sea caves carved into the lava cliffs. It is a picturesque view with many side attractions along the way.

Whitehaven Beach is not only beautiful but it also one of the cleanest beaches in Australia. The seven-kilometer shoreline has sand as white as snow. The sand consists of 98% silica which the stones and coves don’t have. That is why people believe that the sands were brought to the beach via prevailing sea currents over millions of years. Unlike regular sand, the sand on Whitehaven Beach does not retain heat making it comfortable to walk barefoot on a hot day. This sand is also very fine and can damage electronic equipment such as telephones and cameras, although it is good at polishing up jewelry.

This beach lies on the southwestern side of Crete, an island that is just a walking distance from the mainland. The named came from the word “Elafi” which means deer in Greek because locals realized that people can easily walk to the beach on foot like a deer due to its shallow waters. The beach has the whitest of sand and sparkling turquoise water. Except for the beach, tourists also visit Agios Dikaios, an observation place for the endangered bird Vulture Gypaetus barbatus.

Blue Lagoon is a top favorite among the tourists.

A paradise sandwiched between Comino and Cominotto islet is the Blue Lagoon. Comino Island was named after the cumin seed which was in abundance before in Malta. It has cyan-hue waters hugged by coves and cliffs. Tourists don’t need to do the extremes to enjoy this beach, swimming, snorkeling, and even floating in its clear water can already satisfy you. You can also enjoy the daily cruise that will give you a tour of the entire island of Comino. The island is also a bird sanctuary and a nature reserve with a very small population living there permanently.

Located on the coast of Zakynthos is the Navagio beach which was originally called Agios Georgios. This beach is also called the “Shipwreck Cove” or “Smugglers Cove”. Unlike other beaches with lots of commuting option, this beach can only be accessed by a boat ride. Tourists are advised to bring their own necessities since there are no facilities like a beach umbrella and lounging chair in the secluded bay. The waters reflect the color of the sky and the sand is white and fine. Navagio beach is one of the most famous tourist destinations in Greece. Having a vacation here also means having a vacation with hundreds of other tourists wanting to experience this paradise.
