Serena and Olympia Williams have a seriously fun bedtime routine. The 23-time Grand Slam champion shared mirror selfies on Monday night of her and her mini-me twinning in the most adorable matching heart pajamas.
“Nighttime shenanigans with Olympia,” Williams captioned the post.

The post starts with a boomerang of the two jumping to get any pre-bed jitters out. Then they slow things down, with Olympia doing a stretched out pose on the tiled bathroom floor (the young fashion icon is on her way to being a top model!), and Williams popping a hip. Finally, the two find their zen. Mom did a standing figure four stretch, and Olympia sat criss-cross applesauce, with her hands on her knees, forefinger and thumb together and palms facing up.
“Stop it!! 😍,” said singer Selena Gomez who apparently couldn’t get over how cute the pair is.
In the same way that Williams and her husband Alexis Ohanian said they don’t need a reason to celebrate Olympia, we are guessing Williams doesn’t need a reason to “werk it” with her thoughtful kindergartener.
“Sometimes we surprise Olympia with parties,” Williams said on Instagram. “We don’t need a reason or a special occasion we make everyday as special and memorable as we can.”

There is no doubt that Williams and Ohanian each have a special relationship with their daughter. Williams said in a personal essay for Vogue that she “loved every second of being pregnant with Olympia.” The two have been joined at the hip ever since. In a recent, unexpectedly controversial post, Olympia snuggled up with Williams’ during one of her mom’s treatments.
On Sunday, Olympia and her father, a co-founder of Reddit, spent the morning baking and coloring.
“And all of this was before NFL playoffs started 🙏,” he said.
This is far from the first time the mother-daughter duo have rocked matching outfits, and we love a matching PJ moment (these are from one of our favorite brands, Little Sleepies). Olympia’s PJ set has already sold out, but the pajamas are also sold as a zip-up for toddlers, and as tops and bottoms for parents.
Fans of the tennis pro and her little one (us included!) are not-so-patiently waiting for a mommy-and-me clothing line, and maybe this recent post will get that conversation going again.
Williams’ clothing brand, Serena, commented “Besties 💕” on the post, so fingers crossed they are feeling inspired!
