Kourtney Kardashian’s Vegan Day On A Plate Champions Pickles And Tangerine

Though we all eat, seeing what celebrities and Hollywood’s biggest stars put on their plate is a fascinating spectacle. Whether it’s because we assume these stars have personal chefs and catering teams taking care of their every dietary requirement or simply want to see what foods fuel the rich and famous, the Day on a Plate posts continue to garner public attention. Now, Kourtney Kardashian has finally lifted the lid on what she eats in a day and this time, she’s giving us the vegan edition. 

As she explains on her Poosh blog post, “If you’re thinking about becoming vegan, you can make the shift in small waves if that’s easier for you. Start by replacing meat with plant-based options once a week and increase from there.” The post continued, “Kourt admits when she first started, she couldn’t resist and had a baked crab handrail while at dinner during the first few weeks. It’s all about balance and finding how and when you’re comfortable with incorporating the changes into your lifestyle.”

So, just what items are regular fixtures in the star’s 95 per cent vegan diet? It turns out Kourtney Kardashian loves her green smoothies and her sourdough, but her all time favourite combo is pickles and tangerines – who knew? Read on for her full day on a plate: the vegan edition.

Breakfast options

Kourtney is said to either make her signature avocado shake or banana smoothie, however when it comes to protein powders she now chooses vegan options. If she’s not quite feeling like a liquid breakfast, she’ll have a blueberry bagel smothered with peanut butter and jelly. Other options she sometimes includes in her morning routine are an açai bowl or vegan chicken and waffles from Crossroads that she tends to leave to cheat days. 

Snacks

When it comes to a midday snack, Kourtney loves pickles and tangerines (weird flex, but ok) but also says that the Mind Right bars’ peanut butter flavour is her favourite. The reality star shared that

Lunch options

For lunch, Kourtney tends to have Zooles minus the turkey bacon. Other lunch favourites include sourdough bread with vegan butter, topped with pickles and a side of tangerines. Once again, it seems the star can’t live without her pickles and tangerine combo. 

Dinner options

Dinner favourites for Kourtney include plant-based tacos, vegan sushi that she tends to have at Nobu – the hotspot for Hollywood’s biggest celebrities. Here, she says her favourite is the order of crispy rice with avocado, edamame, and an avocado roll.
