Cute, unobtrusive and easy-to-use workout gear is a must-have for anyone who wants to really commit to adding more movement to their lifestyles. Unless you’ve fallen in love with an equipment-free workout, you might have your own “this will make me want to workout” grave yard of gear — ranging from ellipticals and treadmills that you use as a clothes rack to funky gimmick-y gear (like this weighted hula hoop) — and though you buy them with the best of intentions, it can be disheartening to collect a lot of less-than-versatile stuff that reminds you of all the workouts you’re just not doing.
But there’s a few classic pieces that will rarely sit shamefully useless in your living room — things like a good set of weights, a medicine ball, a yoga mat and a set of ankle and wrist weights.
You might’ve seen this pair from Bala in the past. They are classic, totally adorable (if you like frantically leave your workout to accept a package at the door you won’t feel silly being spotted in them) and give you a bit of extra resistance to make any activity you’re doing a bit more of a workout. But the Bala Bangles — while absolutely beloved by your friend who does Barre — clock in at $49 and have been out of stock more than once, so it’s nice to have alternative options.
Enter this pair from Amazon: the Foreva Fit ankle and wrist weights. At $39.99, you’ll save a couple bucks without skimping on the comfort, quality or ~aesthetics~ of the other pair.
Our mission at SheKnows is to empower and inspire women, and we only feature products we think you’ll love as much as we do. Please note that if you purchase something by clicking on a link within this story, we may receive a small commission of the sale.
They are adjustable and pretty dang sleek, just like the Bala pair, and are made from high-quality silicone with a texturized inside to keep them in place during your workout.
If you were looking for some comfortable weights that will never not be useful (even if it’s been a while since you’ve really tried to workout), these might just be your perfect match.
