Keep yourself healthy during the winter and book yourself in for a winter flu jab. Now, Boots is offering £5 off winter flu jabs – but customers need to hurry to book.

Boots is discounting its private Flu Jab Service for just one day only.

Perfect timing for the winter, customers can book the jab for just £10, which saves £4.99 off original price.

Boots Pharmacist, Bina Mehta said: “With low prevalence over the past year or so possibly leading to a drop in flu immunity among the population, vaccinating against flu is even more important than in previous years.”

She added: “I always encourage getting a flu jab privately if you’re not eligible for a free one on the NHS.”

The offer is available for appointments booked in-store or online on Tuesday 16 November 2021 only.

It’s available to all parents aged 16 and above.

In addition, the service is available in most Boots pharmacies across the UK and in some selected stores for children age 12 to 15.

Boots also offers the free NHS flu jab for all patients aged 50 and over.

The flu vaccination helps the body produce protective antibodies, which fights against the influenza virus.

Please note, it is subject to availability.

Payment will be taken online or in-store on day of booking.

It takes around 10 – 14 days after vaccination to be protected against the flu.

There can be side effects which include redness, soreness, bruising at the injected area and a high temperature.

Most side effects are mild and subside after a day.

Shoppers can also get cough, cold and flu products online at Boots.

With over 100 products available, shoppers can get a variety of medicines for colds and flus.
