Bindi Irwin and Chandler Powell may be known for their wildlife conservationist efforts at the Australia Zoo, but in their free time, they like to have a lot of fun, too. And thanks to an adorable new family photo, we see that Grace is already training for water sports — just like her dad!

In a photo posted to Instagram, the 2-year-old is dressed in a pink floral wetsuit with water shoes as she rides in a big blue floatie. Her dad and uncle, Robert Irwin, carry her along a dirt path from the back, and the Irwins’ friend, Luke Reavley, carries the tube from the front. She looks like a little queen being carried by these doting men!

Like her wakeboarder dad, Grace looks totally blissful as she’s about to go into the water. The wind is whipping through her hair, her mouth is open wide, and you can just picture her saying, “Gnarly, dude!”
Luke Reavley’s Birthday

Thank you for everything you do.” He added another tidbit about Grace and Reavley’s seemingly close relationship. “Grace appreciates you as her muffin baking sous chef!?”
Bindi also shared a special birthday message for their family friend, including a throwback from Grace’s first birthday party. “Happy Birthday to the most wonderful – @lukereavley we love you!” she wrote on Instagram. “This little #flashback photo from Grace’s first birthday made me so happy I had to share.”
The photo (which you can see HERE) shows Grace looking like an absolute doll at an outdoor tea party.

On Powell’s Instagram post, Irwin commented at the time, “Thanks so much for coming. It was wonderful to meet you and your fantastic family. Good luck in your comp.” Afterwards, Powell gave Irwin his email address. “We stayed in touch and became great friends,” Irwin told ET. “I can’t really say when it turned into more. It just evolved over time and bloomed into this wonderful thing.”
Powell still loves surfing, and posted the cutest photo of him, Robert, and Grace on a surfboard at the beach in December 2022.
Father-Daughter Bonding

We love seeing how close their relationship is — and how brave and adventurous little Grace is.
